Prerequisite dot points
Define a polynomial function P(x) of degree n, where n is a non-negative integer, to be a function that can be expressed in the form P(x) = a_nxⁿ + a_n - 1x^(n - 1) + … + a_2x² + a_1x + a_0, for real a_n,…,a_0 and a_n≠0
